Haste Makes Waste
"Haste makes waste" is all English proverb which is ll of logic. This proverb has become a precept whose value is universally accepted. It reminds us that if we are to accomplish anything, we must do it step by step. If we are to achi our final goal we have to do it in a down to earth way. Howr, if we attach too much importance to speed, it is very likely that we will have errors. What is worse, if we take too hasty an action, we may result in a complete failure.
A good case in point is the ancient Chinese story of "ing the shoots grow by pulling", which says that a man was worried that the crops in his field might not grow fast enough, so he "ed" them grow by pulling them up a bit. The result is that all the crops died in stead of growing up fast. The man's haste caused him not only waste, but great loss.
There is much we can learn from this ancient Chinese story. Success involves than speed. We shouldn't expect to achi something in the shortest time possible. Whatr we do, we must nr forget: haste, less speed.
